BUYER CHECKLIST

Compare the whole proposal, not just the price.

A practical way to put product offers on the same basis before deciding.

Use one written brief

Send the same product description, quantity, destination and packing requirements for each proposal. If one offer uses a different specification or unit, clarify the difference before comparing it.

Make inclusions explicit

Ask which preparation, packing, loading, transport or other services are included in the proposed price. Record the agreed delivery point and clarify any costs that remain outside the proposal.

Check timing and open questions

Review proposed preparation time, sample requirements and any dependencies that could affect the order. Keep assumptions separate from confirmed commitments, including availability of the actual material.

Keep a final comparison

Bring the specification, quantity, unit, packing, price basis, delivery point and outstanding questions into a simple comparison sheet. Reconfirm material changes in writing before moving to an agreement.
